3.0 will have a built-in PS1 emu, and paid PS1 games (and other MS games) that will soon hit sites and become "free," sadly, starting another new ring of homebrew and we will know it.

The more features, the more exploits.

One thing that I don't get is why people are so anxious to see 3.0- it's no big deal, really. Patience.
