Red face A Few Questions Admin access, Sony, etc..

First, say "Noob A" bricks his psp by installing a fake downgrader on 2.1+ "Noob A" then returns it to sony, best buy, wherever he has a warranty, doesnt really matter where... The store he returns it to then ships it back to Sony I imagine (not sure but imagine so rather then just throwing it away which would be retarted) but now Sony recieves this dead PSP what do they do with it? Do they simply throw it away? Or do they simply re flash it and send it to "noob b" who returned his psp to sony probably from another downgrader incident? Basically what does sony do with a dead psp? Recycle?

Second, if we knew this "Secret Password" could someone make a downgrader? How is this encrypted by the way? Detailed if possible..

Third, I keep hearing all we have is user acess, can sony have admin access? How would this be done? Dev Kit? Hooking up through USB and using "Secret Password"? A UMD? Or is Admin access comletely blocked to all?

Final, i take it the psp has no "restore feature" meaning if your able to erase certain files (flash obviously) it wont just "restore" those files back to the original...

**EDIT** Another thing, when you update through the Network Update, is there anyway to LAN this and emulate the actual server its updating from?

Sorry if im dumb.. Just wondering about all these..
