C++ is a natural progression of C, and is much more advanced, vb is a pretty easy language to pick up compared to either of the other two, but any of 'em will take lots of practice. Here are a couple of sites I just got from google, another good thing to check out are college/university sites, lots of times there online notes will be open to the public and can be a little easier to understand.
