Points: 113.66 Donate | | | I wouldn't get too excited. From what I can see (without a disassembler to hand), this is just a cut-n-paste of a past EBOOT loader release.
Well, that ain't gonna work (you think it would take me 2 weeks of solid work trying to make this work, just to think of trying this?). It'd be nice if anyone else planning something like this would take the time to talk to me about it. At the very least, I can save you a fair bit of wasted effort.
And if it isn't a direct cut-n-paste (like maybe you followed the clear instructions in the Hello World readme about how to get things running), then I'd be interested to see your code for a MIPS relocator, because that's something I've been meaning to write for a while.
Even with such code, there are an awful lot of hurdles to overcome before this can ever work - such as the limited memory space, issues with the frame buffer, and differing syscalls. |
