Hey!
As I'm sure most of you are aware, I've left the PSP scene. But, as a minority of you know, I'm still trying to contribute a little, even without the use of a PSP.
PSPG (PSPGuides) is due to have its first release soon, but thanks to a new idea; I've postponed the v2 non-BETA version for a while.
What I want to do is simply transcribe the guides themselves into image format, where each image is a page formatted to the PSP screen. It has to consist of no more than 14 pages, and in the format PNG with a resolution of 280x272 pixels.
The executable itself is finished (Thanks Dreadnought!), but I need one or two willing people to help out with the transcription. It's a massively tedious job, but it has to be done if I'm ever going to get this done. And when it is done, I'm hoping to leave the scene behind completely.
Volunteers will receive a link to the online BETA version of the guides, as well as a set of templates for the pages themselves.
So, any volunteers? Any help would be absolutely fantastic! |

If you help out with the transcriptions, you'll be massivley thanked in the Readme file, as well as pre-release access to the guides and the PSP exectuables.
If you want to help out, send a PM and we'll sort out the details.
Again, I want to say thanks to Dreadnought for completely "Re-vamping" the source code.
By the way, when I said I had left the scene in my last thread, I meant it. The fact that I have posted does not, in any way, mean I've returned. I'm trying to keep my posting to an ABSOLUTE minimum. Hopefully, I can leave very soon and then I will finally have full control of my life.
Besides, the company I work for were very stern when I told them that I programmed for and hacked the PSP. They seem to think what I'm doing/I did was either illegal or simply unethical.
Either way, they and I have been trying to discourage myself from doing it anymore, so this will be my very last project before I leave. You shouldn't hear much more from me after this, as I hope the majority of the work and releasing will be done low-key and in the background.
