I am new to coding homebrew for the PSP, and ive ran into a problem..

First off, i am using this link to get my CYGWIN and Toolchain links.

I installed the CYGWIN as according to that site, and then downloaded the toolchain and extraded it to the right folder (yes i am sure)

I then opened up the CYGWIN and went to the folder and tried to run it using ./toolchain.sh, and it says "ERROR: Please make sure you have 'patch' installed. and it doesnt run.

How do i install the "patch" that it needs? Also, i tried svn update and it doesnt know the command "svn"

try reinstalling cygwin(when u go to sleep cuz it takes hella long) maybe u did something wrong

I've reinstalled it several times now, and it only takes ~10-20 minutes to install for me...I have a fast computer

i just reinstalled it in about 5 minutes. At first, it said i didnt have "GNU 'Make'" installed, but i just moved make.exe from another pspdev into the bin folder for CYGWIN, but now i still get the patch error.
