I have a challenge for any devs out there willing to do this. Recently I've been watching a lot of youtube, but It's hard to watch when your on the go...

So my proposal is for a dev to amp up the PSP browser so that it understands Java and will run the youtube movies.

I'll be interested in what comes up. Good Luck and Have fun!

Youtube is Flash video, but i think you need Flash 8 to run it. The PSP only supports Flash 7.

Wrong. The PSP uses Flash 6!

And the web browser isn't open source, so we can't modify it. We would need to create our own browser and then implement the previous features and make it VSH compatible.

It would take weeks, if not months for a whole team of developers and would be extremely difficult.

Your challenge: Think of another one...

use google video, it has a "download to psp/ipod" feature
