sceioassign to non-block device?

If you don't code in C for the PSP, look away now.

I currently have the following code in my program:

sceIoAssign("flash0:", "msstor0p1:", "fatms0:", 0x01, NULL, 0);
That code unmounts the flash partitions, and redirects them to the root of the memory stick. Now, the problem is, I'm getting sick of having the files I'm loading and writing going to the root, and I want it to go to "fatms0:\dump\" instead.

sceIoAssign will only assign to block devices (so I've been told), and I want to mount a directory as the flash.
I've seen in some source code around the internet (never found out if any worked) similar code which mounts to a folder like this:
sceIoAssign("flash0:", "msstor0p1:/" , "fatms0:/Flash0/", IOASSIGN_RDWR, NULL, 0);
Which is what I want to do.

Can anyone help me?
