ok so i'm usually a neutral kind of person but i need urgent (well maybe not) help. I need to find out to make a character jump in my lua game.

Either a lua jump code, a tutorial, or a link would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I am not sure on this one...

However, to jump means that you have gravity (Or an acceleration on all objects), as well as a character touching another (Person on ground for example), and pushing the button gives you an initial up velocity, that the downward acceleration wittles back down to zero (if you land) or infinate if you miss.

That said, I have no clue how to do it, sorry...

i have some of the source from my last attemt on a lua pinball game. i didn't make it, but i think there is gravity stuff coded in it.
