I developed my own downgrader and I'm a step further than y'all are!
Mine is almost the same like y'alls...
On the one Memory Stick is the 2.60 firmware update and on the other there is a 2.00 update with a param.sfo that says that it's a 2.60, too.
So I tried it and some kind of error (there were some numbers and letters) came.
It only was a try!

This theory will not work. I even tried it on 2.60, by modding an update to 2.70, so it would boot. Then i put it in sleep and swapped with a 2.00. The screen came up with the start menu, i clicked it and it said a later version is already installed. Sony is not stupid, there is more than one version check.

That is not a step further. All you did was corrupt the 2.00 update by breaking its encryption
