Ok, well heres the story, i may have found a way to use 1.5 to boot 2.0 while keeping 1.5 FW as the Main OS, it kinda complicated, but All tests that I ran showed that it works (Lot of glitches, but it works). Basicly its an eboot.pbp file that you start from you original 1.5 firmware. It then freezes up you PSP, and you gotta wait about 2 minutes before you restart your psp, and when you restart it you have 2.0 running. Then when you want to go back to 1.5 firmware, you just have to completley shut down your psp, and start it back up. The way it works is, when you run the eboot.pbp from the 1.5 firmware, it starts a modified version of a 2.0 update that I made, the modified version is basicly isntalling 2.0, without earasing the files of 1.5. After you run it the first time, yo dont run it anymore, since both 2.0 and 1.5 are installed in the memory. After you run it the first time, to get to 2.0 the second time, you gotta run the second eboot i made which basicly switches the firmware 'Priority'. Which means if your 1.5 firmware is Priority 1, when you start your psp, itll run 1.5, if your 2.0 firmware is priority 1, when you start your psp, itll be 2.0. If your at 2.0 and want to switch priortity to 1.5, youll need an eboot loader. My first eboot that installs 2.0, doesnt work with 2.0 eboot loaders unfortunatly.
My big problem is this: the psp's Internal memory can support two firmwares, but it is not big enough to run a umd game while both firmwares are installed. I need a bigger chip to make this work. I can do it without the chip, but trying to compress a firmware is really complicated and i dont know how to do it. So, does anyone know where to buy a psp memory chip thats bigger? thanks.
Btw, please dont ask me to send you this program, It has bricked 3 of the 4psps i bougght to use for this project. I dont want to have the responsibility of your bricked psps. Ill try to add pictures as soon as I buy a digital camera (Probably in a couple of weeks).
