i havent a clue what sony uses but im sure it different. im sure it would be just like a putting a normal cd in a dvd player that only reads dvd's.
its most likely a different format.

Points: 0.51 Donate | | | i opend my sampler disc very easily. If you look carefully there is a little line where it got closed and you try and stcik youre nail in there and just draw across until you can get the disc to come out. |

Hi-MD Minidisc's are 1gig
780 nm wavelength laser and 65mm diamater disk
PSP UMD's are 1.8gig
Maximum Capacity: 1.80 GB (dual layer) 900 MB (Single-Layer)
Laser wavelength: 660 nm
True if you ripped out some of the game features it will fit (depending on game) but the laser wavelengths are completly different so the PSP wouldnt even read a Hi-MD.
And anyway how would you write the data to the Hi-MD there arent any commercial burners out there, only ones that write audio through Sonicstage.
