Ok, this is exactly like my old downgrader idea, yet this time we are trying both 1.51 and 1.52 instead of 2.00. I figured out a fatal flaw in it, 2.xx upgrades do a current version check ( that is what i call it anyways), but i am not sure if they implemented it into 1.51 and 1.52, but if they didn't, this could be the big break!
You need 2 Memory Sticks, Firmware Updates 1.51, 1.52, and 2.6...
Ok, now have your MS's ready, start the 2.6 update, wait until the screen goes black and the MS light stops blinking, and put your PSP into sleep mode (hit the power button) Swap Memory sticks, and hopefully voila! you can downgrade to 1.51 or 1.52, whichever works... I can't guarantee this working... but i got this idea (the swap) from Train2335.
Someone please try it... Not likely that it will brick until you actually update, but there is that 1%. If you go to the actual update stage, i am not sure whether it will brick when it updates... but if it does i am not responsible!
