| | | 3 Possible Idea's to Hack 2.5/2.6 I have been looking threw certain pages and looking at idea's and adding to them and i think i have got a few you might be interested in and might develop into somthing.
Idea's:
1. (EXTENDED ON SOMEONE ELSES IDEA) With the web browser you type in a url which has the lenght of like a hundred text documents then go to there and save it as your home page... once you have done that it will save it to the flash and hopefully either weaken or callapse the flash by which would make the psp more vunerable.
2. (ALL MY IDEA)..... people have been saying that the TIF exploit in pictures is blocked and has been fixed by sony,,,, well maybe you could make a website with that picture on and go to that via the web browser which could crach the psp in the same way as the 2.0 downgrade did.
3. (ALL MY IDEA) You could make another website which has some pictures on it which have script in them.... this script would need to do things like close the applets that sony use to block us from doing stuff (security)
It could save that picture to a temperary internet folder just like it does on our computers. And as you know people store infomation like Trojan Horses and shit on them to get it to do stuff they want.
This might be possible with the psp.
I hope some of these idea's are ok and maybe be extended on.
And dont forget.... Its ok to say somthing wont work but dont forget to leave a reason and try your best to stay on topic.
Thank You
Kind Regards

| | | On the first one,,, how long was the URL because it would need to be a few pages long to make any progress
On the second one... i agree, i think i heard some one tell me about that not workin at some point.
On the 3rd one... (my fave)...... You couldnt of possible written all the possible scipts into an image..... there are alot of techniques to be tryed with this...
And i hope you's have noticed that i have been focusing on the web browser because i think this is the most vunerable because you are letting infomation in and there are multiple ways to do so with a web browser.
Kind Regards

| | | | i agree with that,,, i think that people will do a couple of lines of the url,,,, but what we need is about 2 to even a hundred pages of lines and then save to home page... AKA... Flash...
The web browser was not completed propoly and is not up to scratch and i want to make shore that we have done all we can to exploit it....
Oh and has anyone noticed that most of my posts get a few pages of results!....
Kind Regards
