Points: 1.50 Donate | | start with python or ruby, easy clean syntax sugar  , for the record, C is loved by purists because it isnt obfuscated (as in obfuscated headers) like in C++, yes the OOP is an issue, but i doubt any of you guys go indepth with encapsulation regardless. Start with python, wrap your head around classes and polymorphism and all that..then go with C++, forget C...really.. |

| | Member | | | | | I've never tried ruby, but OMG, Python is frekin AWSOME!!! Really slick and easy. I would love to figure out how to make a graphical game that runs on the PSP with python. I did read that python can be run on the PSP somehow.

I had a PSP 1.0, reterned it, got a 1.0, upgraded to 2.6 reterned it, got a 2.1, reterned it, got a 2.1, reterned it, got a 2.1, FINALLY reterned it, AND GOT A 1.5!!! Then I upgraded to 2.0, then 2.6! Then, upgraded to 2.7 and was first to post it on www. psp3d.com, then upgraded to 2.71 and will keep upgrading forever... (3.0!!!)

C and C++ has absolutly nothing to do with C#!!
C# is more like Java.
C and C++ is a genre for itself.
First came C... A danish guy called Bjarne Stoustrup thought it could be better. So he took the best things. And combined it with the possibility to create objects.
Microsoft created C# toghether with the .NET platform. And is really a nice language. (The only thing bad is that its made by M$)
C# Includes Object oriented programming, Classes and Constructors. And with Mono in linux there is a posibillity to use C++ libraries, Java libraries and fx python libraries IN C#!! Thats really cool!  | |
