new idea to downgrade-if possible - worth a try

Hi,

I have another idea, maybe it's useful.

In one of my older threads i told you, that the UMD-Updates are not with the "decryption code protection" ! So now, because it's possible to maybe program an iso loader: I maybe can compress an Iso with 1.5 downgrade in it, dunno if it works but it's worth a try.

So my question: Does anybody know how to program an iso loader, so the file could be launched by GTA hack?
Yes, I know 2.1 - 2.6 Homebrew progress is not very far, but maybe anyone can program a LITTLE iso loader with the developerkit fanjita released. I told you, dunno if it works, but the Iso may work,if there's sumthing like a fastloader oder Isoloader for that versions.

Hope I can/could help

Greetz

ISO loaders are not homebrew like Pong, starfield, tetris etc. they are a completely different concept. sorry but it cant be done.

Well... his idea is not so crappy.
I've been travelling to Hong-Kong last month and I've seen some UMD sold
with 1.00 firmware on it.. i dunno how, may they had stolen an UMD writer
in a container or else i dunno but the seller told me it worked untill 2.5 (it
seems that 2.6 has another anti-piracy system with false UMD's because
in the Asian NPI's -Singa, HK, Taiwan- there'r still warez-UMD's).

EDIT: Btw, we don't care because we just want LEGAL hb on our stuffiez
and not hacking games instead of contributing (sure with $$$) to the videogame
industry.
