Exclamation For People interested in PSP homebrew

Hi, i was wondering if the psp homebrew allows any 3d graphics like OpenGL or direct X??
And how difficult is it to translate code that work on PC to work on PSP?

I downloaded a PsP guide and things but im too busy to read them.


Ive have made a 3d Tic tac toe game and am in process of making a Football/ Soccer Goal Keeper Game Both would be so kool if they could be transferred to PSP.

Does anyone know what languages the psp uses for programming games?
Is it difficult to translate games?

and finally

Does anyone want to try and translate my games to PSP format?

Check out the games i made here..

On my site i got photos and info about them, and if anyone has any information on how to transfer it to psp or wanna help me make them for pc that would be so kool!!!

Any info or suggestions welcome!!!

The PSP's native graphics library is similar to OpenGL. You can also get an openGL library for the PSP, as part of the PSPSDK.

If you know what you're doing it shouldn't be too hard to translate.

Usually C or C++. Translation difficulty depends on how fluent you are with those languages, and how willing you are to read up about PSP-specifics. See http://wiki.ps2dev.org for basic dev info.

Hello i havent had any time recently to reply to your messages cause im a student and got exams this week.

Cause it keeps having problems downloading from website

I havent had time to read up on any PSP translations and wouldnt be able to start that for while. But if anyone likes where my games are going and wants the code to translate them, ill think about letting u have the code.

The latest footy game news is that the players run to the ball, tackle and randomly pass to their team mates or shoot. The player can move the goalkeeper around and he can catch the ball as well. I put some rotations in so when the players are chasing the ball they are facing it. I love to watch the game in isometric and top - down view, im considering making it look like sensible soccer.

Its for a university level 3 project, and the topic is AI so im focus will be on making the players attack like real life as soon as my exams are finished.
