Cygwin help please

i think there should be an official cygwin guide and help forum....but anyways on to my problem im setting up cygwin on my comp with the psp toolchain...right...when i try to run toolchain.sh i get this

line:73 gmake command not found
line:85 gpatch command not found
line:104 svn command not found
error: please make sure you have 'subversion (svn) installed


anyone have anyu clue how to fix this

In the psptoolchain folder you'll find a file called toolchain.sh. Open that in a text editor and find gmake and gpatch and replace them with make and patch.
You also need to install the subversion package.

stefan.buddle..

you have 2 problems there ...
1) your cygwin make has no development packages...
on the cgwin setup click on the plus next to development and select automake (gnumake) as well as patch (gpatch).

2)you dont have svn installed
on the same screen go down to web enable svn and wget

sit back for like 2 - 3 hours

I think you still haven't installed everything you needed. Make sure the "Devel" category look like this when you install cygwin.

yes i got it running...but i have dial up and was wondering if i can download the other files seerate...the files that u have to dl when running toolchain.sh???

ive been having a problem also, i cant get the SDK to compile it says invalid command and cannot find file

what does devel do?
