i got a white japan 2.5
and last i got a u.s 2.6 (thanx for homebrew on 2.6 gta) 
it wouldnt bother me to try the file or watever expiriment( i mean ill be a tester)
i have no problem with bricking it i got another one(well i do but its all good)
