ive been playing aroung with file assistant on my 2.6 and a thought just cameto mind.. u can access files on the umd with the file assitant.. can u just put like a downgrader in ur root and then use file assistant to replace the updater on the umg (ex 2.0 updater on gta) and then jujst downgrade..

Yes i did search nothing came up

This would not work because 1. When you try to copy files on file assistant it frezzes. 2. You can not write to UMDs. 3. Even if this could work it would say "Your system software is X.XX. There is no need to update.

Where the hell does everyone get fileassistant from...Ive searched high and low and have never found this...Ohh well.

I'm not sure, I don't think you can load anything from fileassistant, I think you can just view files, move them around, and create folders and stuff not sure though
