What if we could unsolder PSP's flash, read the data on a PC, modify the firmware and then re-encode it? We could add our own exploit by just changing a few bits and then have it flashed again! Then use the exploit we inserted to downgrade and bla bla bla...
I think the firmware is decoded on the chip. If this is possible we could change the version number of an 1.5 firmware and reencode the whole thing again with the public key but I think this goes a little far from true...
Let someone who knows how to code answer on this... And PLEASE don't flame... I just dropped an idea!

and if we did we could downgrade anyway ad we would just make our own firmware and code it with the key.

you can simply make a downgrader with the update eboots...

2: open the psp
3: get an Eprom burner
4: carefully remove the flash mem
5: burn whatever you want on it
6: carefully put it back together

| Yeah,yaeh... It is that simple, what for that moment we haven`t even a bit of success with downgraders and all attemps was failed... Just try to make it by yourself, if you are saying what its THAT simple to do.
