PSP NEWS 60 Day Coding Comp

PSP News are proud to announce the 1st PSP 60 Day Coding Competition.

Rules

The contest will run from February 8th 00:01am 2006 to April 8th, 2006.

The contest will end at 11.59pm gmt , (the end of April 8th , 2006).

Software can be for any version PSP.

Submissions for the contest should be messaged to wraggster on the DCEmu UK forums or posted in the Private Developers Forum

Submissions must be new or updated releases and ones that havent been publically released before the winner of the contest is announced. (Meaning that if its a new version of an old release say PSPGBA v1.3 it shouldnt be released anywhere before the winner of the comp is announced)

Submissions will be posted over a 2 day period or less if the amount of entries is small starting January 11th.

Submissions will be required to carry a Splashscreen saying "PSP News 60 Coding Competition @ http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk" designs may vary

Multiple entries are allowed although only the best entry will win prizes.

Entries must be freeware so that when tournament ends they can be distributed.

This competition is open to anyone and all software for the PSP.

Entries must not be released on Coders sites until 2 days after PSP News has announced them.

The Judging will be done by wraggster.

The winner will be announced on the 15th April 2006

Prizes

The Prize to the winner is a Gamepark GP2X Console

I was talking today to Admin, and he actually was telling me about a PSP 3D coding contest coming soon with some BIG prizes, not that ill win them, but some devs might have fun......

psp news is giving a gp2x handheld though, I think admin's givng like $50 1st prize, and lower or something like that.

if i only know how to code i would make quake for psp or make halo and make it wifi and stuff i would be a god to all the psp gamers out there but too bad i'm not
