Mostly impossible, and if even possible, i think it will be VERY slow and VERY incompatible and buggy...

Yeah what the dude said above, but I reckon it would matter on the size of the exe. Still the smaller sized would still take a while.

it's very possible, but first you need some HARDCORE file IO (understanding the format of an exe file and such) and then make the program/shell for the PSP to run it... not impossible... jusf very improbable anyone would.

oh, and most programs would probably run fine, so long as they don't depend on lots of graphics.

it would probably be easier to beg the maker into giving you the source code for free and converting that into something like PSPide or something. hehe...

Exclamation

I think your PSP may literaly explode because of the lack of embedded DRAM (32mb)

Well, the best place to do to run an EXE would be dosemu, and port it over to the PSP. The biggest problem with trying to run a DOS .exe is that they tend to be very keyboard oriented, which the PSP simply is not.

But if you have a killer .exe that you want to run, then dosemu would be my first choice. (it's be best if it worked in a few megs of RAM too). I understand that Windows 3.1 might even run in dosemu.

Wine (Windows Emulator) would be way to RAM intensive to consider porting.
