Being the nerdy D2 fan i am; i request a port of Diablo 2. I realize this will be a large undertaking probably requiring a 2gb stick to play (maybe 1 gb depending on factors). I personally do not know what something of this magnitude would entail, but would be willing to attempt if some one will point me in the right direction to start.
PM me with info starting this project; i want to try to do it.

Points: 12.58 Donate | | odds are that you cant do it, we were lucky to get doom & quake, getting diablo(2) would take about 5 weeks to do and would be about half the speed. sorry  .

Points: 1.94 Donate | | The source code for D2 is not released, therefor you cant port it. The entire game would have to be re-created from scratch. Which would take years. Sorry, if your a D2 fan, there are some D2ish games already on PSP, i'd try'n'give them a whirl. Untold Legends is one. Some screenshots can be found HERE

Points: 4,012.93 Donate | | | I have Untold Legends, it was the first game a got. the whole reason i bought a PSP intially was because of that game (i friend loaned me his PSP for a day). Then i beat it in 3 days, made 2 more chars, and maxed them to lvl 50 in 2 weeks. I like d2 better. the graphics in untold aren't bad, but there are aspects of d2 i like better, set items, uniques, a larger char selection, more unique skill selection. more Replay value is the bigger issue; i haven't even touched untold legends in 2 months; i play d2 almost daily.
this is my train of thought....
Come up with a eboot for D2
use a modified installation from the cds
use a modified iso of the "play" disc (i realize that this may limit use to FW 1.5 for now)
there may be other ways.. i am still researching. i am very new to the scene, but like what others have done and i want to contribute as well. |

D1 and D2 were great, but there wont be a port unless the PSX emu takes off and we can emulate the playstation 1 verison of #1
