Thumbs up ucLinux (Proof of Concept) released

This is a Release for all the non believers and elitist "hackers" in the "scene". After some weeks of hacking i made it. Yet another time the REAL breakthrough stuff comes from FRANCE!!!

download it here: http://rapidshare.de/files/16915465/psplinux.tgz.html

WARNING: It doesnt do anything useful yet. It also runs in kernel mode which means incase of a malfunction anything could happen including bricking your PSP (although very unlikely, i have run it a hundred times during development).

I will release the source (or maybe only patches) in the next days. Give me some time to recover first.

FRENCH POWER!!!!

so its just linux on the psp. That pretty sweet, i know linux is used by very experienced computer users and if you made the port for it you must know a lot. Congrats. But it has no use for me since i know nothing more about linux.

It might become useful for everyone, once it is stable enough so people can use it as a base to port existing linux applications. eg many gp2x programs could be ported with little efort (the gp2x uses linux as its OS)

Peux-tu me dire comment vous avez "ported" le kernel. Aussi, s'il est juste une installation minimale comme MuLinux, pouvons-nous mettre gcc et puis compiler nos codes?

Hopefully you understood what I meant. I didn't use a translator either, I just know (some) French
