hello everybody

here is quake v2+ gp with server browser for firmware 1.0 2.5 and 2.xx
(gp stands for Gpeters)

i made this package because there just wasn,t a way to join servers on a 2.xx firmware psp

its al complete no need for downloading more files and very simply installation just read the added ReadmeFirst.txt file

features: all the features of Quake v2 and:

-server browser with 4 preprogrammed quake servers
-program your own 4 favourite servers by editing the autoexec.cfg
-program your own button configuration editing the autoexec.cfg
(the ingame button changer won,t save)
-preprogrammed quick chat option

and more

the instructions are now also differenth then with the old quake with serverbrowser

1 now just load quake
2 in the menu go to multiplayer
3 switch infrastructure on
4 go back to the menu
5 load a new single game
6 then in game press select untill
you got "serverbrowser"
7 then press right on your digital move pad
8 then you can choose out of 4 servers triggered by circle, square, triangle or cross

you can also add more servers that is exlained in the readmefirst file in the rar file

the only thing i did was inplenting the serverbrowser in quake v2
and i changed the controls
and i written a manual to change the controls permently (cause you cant save them)
and i written a manual for how to add other servers in the browser

if i putted this thread in the wrong forum sorry, but i,m new here and i was so excited that i want to put it inmeditly online to get more psp players on the servers

so everybody download it put it on every psp-website you know

download also the rocket arena pack thats 46 multiplayer maps !! handy on joining servers couse there are a lot rocket arena servers you can download it legal free !! instructions in the readmefirst packed in the rar

i also uploaded the free legal Rocket Arena Map pack

it ads 46 multiplayer maps with their own sound to your psp quake
handy when joining servers couse there are a lot of rocket arena servers

you can also use them to start your own server online or in ad hoc

just unrar the file and copy the pak2.pak file to your game/quake/ID1 directory

so what exactly does this mean...that i can play against my friend in wyoming from colorado now on quake??

or does it just emulate the server or something like that cause i want to play online against my friend in wyoming

it means that you can join online servers now with this pack

in the original quake v2 there isn,t a on screen keyboard to put the servers ip in

so you now with this pack have 4 preprogrammed working servers and you can edit the autoexec.cfg to add your own favourite servers

enjoy

on the download link you have to wait only 30 seconds and then you may click on it

look good for the download link/ download timer, cause sometimes the download link is covered by an little advertising window
