Guys! I may be on to something!! Possible homebrew on 2.01+ PLEASE READ

Im really excited right now.
Ok I have a 2.01 jap firmare white psp and GTA.
I have been using fanjita's eloader for a while now but uninstalled it so I could play GTA again.

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG

I was just screwing around on my PSP when I went into the "Game" folder on the psp menu and then chose the "memory stick" option. Ok so now it shows a bunch of icons: they're all "broken picture" icons and when I try to select them it says data has been corrupted. Now these are obviously the eboots which I opened via the GTA eloader right? Right.
But now I happen to come across something strange while browsing through these "corrupted" files. The PSP SWF player is sitting there showing its full name and icon. And when I move my "selector" over it, it displays the the full picture and website etc. This would only happen, I'm guessing on a 1.5 PSP when an eboot is selected. So I try opening this eboot but it says corrupted data like the others. I'm really thinking possible exploit etc. Please guys check it out.

Uhhh....no. Being able to view EBOOT PNGs on a 2.XX is cake. The only reason those other EBOOTs are corrupted is because it displays as invalid, eLoader EBOOTs.

because to do this we need the encryption code of data.psp to make it load a game...correct me if i'm wrong
there are many people that have try put an data.psp from a 2.6 update and put a diferent data.psar and this says "data corrupted"

keep thinking...

Although one edited EBOOT made it to the update start screen, but we can't get any farther than that...

Hey, at least he was trying. We wouldn't ever get anywhere if no one shared ideas. If people didn't ask questions they might have had an idea that worked. Just kindly tell them it wouldn't work. No need for flames.
