if your asking to change the sound of the startup tone its not possible on a 2.01+
if you have a 1.5 then you can do it but i dont know how as i have a 2.6.

No. The sound/video are stored in /vsh/resource/gameboot.pmf on flash0, which is inaccessible.

Usually by now i'd see "wtf oh shit omg, I can't believe that noob wants to exploit this, it'll never work, stupid noob, go somewhere else noob." but nope. Let's try and keepp it like this ppl. And another thing, when 20 people flame someone it stays there and more people come to flame. If you tell them that it simply won't work once in a nice way it just goes away. Wat no way of workin been a lot of theories around bout expoilting a sound file but none have been working. Again as said be4 no flash0 access which is wat is needed for this to work. But not a bad try thou.

im still thinking hardware will be the way forwards for downgrading etc....
