Has anyone played Gears of war for the 360, it's freaking insane. The graphics are truly next gen, the game play rocks your socks, and it is keeping me away from this forum :P
Seriously, anyone who owns a 360 MUST get this game. The OMFG factor is of the scale.

But this game is seriously the one to own, if anyone has a 360, this is definitely a must have.
My only complaint is that there isn't much of a storyline, you don't really get to know the characters much (ie background and such), but it is one hell of a shooter. Graphics are better than anything the PS3 has to offer right now, even though it is just about to launch, $ony is definitely trying to say that the PS3 is so much better because of 1080p, which in my opinion, is a very lame selling point. Games that can play at 1080p look better at 720p, you get more effects because the CPU/GPU don't have to spend so much time on the higher res, anyways my TV is only 1080i, so i don't have any use for 1080p. I am looking forward to the Wii, looks totally freaking swiit :P
But GoW is just amazing graphics, definitely the top tier, and the 360 can still be pushed further (contrary to $ony's remarks)
Gow=9.9/10 (-0.1 for the storyline, or lack thereof) |

I just looked at some vids of GOW on youtube and it looks fantastic! i guess if it looks good on youtube then it will be fine on my telly  |

Points: 461,099.32 Donate | | | My dad doesn't like having the 360 on the downstairs HDTV, he says that our TV upstairs is plenty good, but I snuck the 360 downstairs last night while my parents were out and played GoW with surround cranked. It was cinematic.
I need to get some VGA cables for my 360 so I can play it on my dad's projector, it just looks crappy with composite cables, but it looks amazing with the proper VGA cables (unless I can steal them from my friend :P ) |
