XBConnect vs. Xlink Kai vs. Normal Infastructure

Hey, I was at my friends house earlier, who happens to have a wireless router with his connection and I played MLB online. I jsut used the online play feature that is on the main menu. I just purchased Socom, and I was wondering that when I get a wireless router, for MLB, and Socom, online play, which way to play online is
1. More popular
2. Less laggy
3. Easy to use / figure out [out of XBConnect & XLink Kai]
I noticed that when I was playing MLB that it was fairly laggy, which probably depended on either the connection I was on or my opponents or both. Either way any information would be helpful.

Dude, normal of course. It should be better in all ways. Arent Xbconnect and Xlink tunneling programs? These are usually slower then the real thing, like infastructure.

GTA doesnt work well with tunelling software because you need a ping less than 20.

They arent slower, heck i cant even tell the difference when im playing online with Xlink Kai than when im playing with friends. Its all to do with the pings and if you have a good connection you wont see a difference either.
