Dino Crisis w/ voice, but chopped early

Dino Crisis SLES02207 no voice? I used the tip of changing the game ID to SLPS02180 (UL PAL). I get voice but every single spoken line ends early. Like,
Gail says, "Son of a ....". Or "Dr Kirk, how do we get off this stinking ...." while waving his machine gun at Dr Kirk.

It's great getting voices but it's a bit annoying when we haven't heard some lines before and don't know what the last 1 or 2 words of the sentence was.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Or is it PopStation GUI 1.2 GFX fix/patches that caused this?
