Game suggestion

I'm going to be headed out on a long car trip, and I wanted to spend some quality time with my PSP. I would like to buy a game (ether PSP or PS1) that I can play on the go from my local game store (we have a great one for used games, brags about having almost every good PS1 game released). I'm looking for something in the same genre as Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Spyro, Tokobots, etc., but not something like Tomb Raider (good game, but I'll be sharing with my little cousin. His mom would freak). Basicly, a cartoonish platformer. Any suggestions guys?

Anything PS1 or PSP is fine.

Well look who decided to show up. Good to see you again. The Spyro games are all good. I always played them when I was younger. You could put one or more of them on your PSP

Yeah I am gonna agree with jsf. Spyro is definitly a good game. I have never played the other ones, sadly.

EDIT: I just thought of Locoroco or Mercury. Both are harmless games, and Mercury is so freaken hard.

Agree with all three. Mercury and LocoRoco are both really addictive, while the second and third Spyro games are both great. (I've played the first, but it just never seemed as good to me as the other two, which I've completed. Spyro 2 is probably the best.) But Mercury would be more for you than for your cousin - as mentioned above, it's not exactly easy.

Haha, the funny thing is, I have all of the spyros, and beat them they are one of my favorite games. Finished locoroco, and yes, Mercury is hard. Any other ideas?

I was looking through my old PS1 games and I thought of sone. Crash Bandicoot. 1,2,3 (Warped), Crash team Racing (It was alright), and Crash bash (I thought was kinda crappy).

I forgot I had that! I never finished them (all three). You just saved me a few bucks since I have them already . Good games, but I never had the time. Thanks!

Just in case I go hunting for more in the future, any other good games fitting said genre?

P.S. I would donate points to jsf for the winning suggestion, but he has more then enough. So, here is a donated laugh.
