Cool Lumines Review!

I used to have a PSP but i sold it cause i needed the money BUT that i haven't forgotten the games I played that i favored when I owned my Baby to the PS3

Game Play

While playing Lumines people notice that it is cubes, not like in tetris where there are different shapes using only 4 blocks. the cool thing about Lumines is that if you wanna make a combo it is much easier to do so by moving the cubes left or right to the position you want and letting it drop, doing so will either make the cube stay in play (If you have a blank section you dropped it on) or half of the cube will fall while the other half is kept on a higher elevation. Now like tetris, as you progress through the game, Faster songs will come then get slower, so keep on your toes!

Graphics

The graphics in the game were pretty good, in some levels the background moved, either with flashing pictures, to things spinning to throw you off your game and distract you, in the beginning it is quite frustrating but it is something that can be easily looked over. That is , if you can ignore the rich colours and movements.

Music

I liked the music in the game for a couple reasons, 1, it wasn't corny, 2 they were pretty good when it came to using the sounds with the blocks to correspond with the music playing in the background, and the fact that the songs never repeat till you reach level 100!

Overall

The game is great if you are a tetris fan! I am one and i loved Lumines! (I even got my father hooked at one point! and if you love music too, then this is totaly the game for you

I gave this game a 10/10

good review. i like how when you play the game for a long time, theres this trippy effect where you can do anything you want and it still works.

Yes yes we have a girl here. Don't get any ideas though. LOL. It is good to have her around. She was the one who contacted PSP-T. I think she's going to stick around
