Want to rent games for free?

So, I have this technique that works pretty good for renting games, legally, and for free! Been using this technique for a few months now, and its been working great. No need to download ISOs, no need to waste bandwidth downloading ISOs, no need to mess with firmware manipulation to use ISOs!

It's simple:

1. Goto your local GameStop.
2. Check out the used games.
3. Used games offer a 7-day "return" policy.
4. Just buy a used game, try it for a week, and return it when you're done with it.
5. If necessary, just return it on the 7th day and re-buy it, preferably at a different store (where I live there are well over 10 GameStop stores within a 5-mile radius).

Most GameStop employees are chill with this, and as long as you make friends, they'll have no complaints with you returning used games every week or so. Rotate GameStops every time and they won't even bother mentioning it.

I find I get bored with most games after 7 days anyways, so this technique works great for me. If it's a really good game, I'll just keep it. But it saves a LOT of money in the long run...

Don't know if people already knew about this but figured I'd post it anyway! Good luck!

Thats a pretty cool technique. Sadly, the closest GameStop to me is 45 minutes away.

Where I go to school, which is next to a mall, there is a Gamestop almost right next to each other. One of them used to be an EBX. Then five minutes down the road there is another Gamestop and one right across the street! It's almost as bad as Starbucks!

And nice tip Robert! I'll have to try that.

Pretty nice idea! This can also apply to GAME stores in the UK (GAME is the name of the store) - AFAIK they have the same 7-day returns policy. There's three within half an hour of where I live, and two are in the same mall (Bluewater), so I could give this a try, for X360 and Wii games at least. (For PSP and DS I generally use, *ahem*, *ahemhemhem*, to try games. )

I wish all the 360 games would come down in price. $60 is way to much for a game. Hell $30 is to much.

Think $60 is too much? Try $100.
