even though coded arms is one of the first games released for psp, i still think its awesome, because its the closest any playstation system can come to halo. I think its also the only FPS for psp that is rated Teen at least. All though it is very repetitive, its very addictive. Most of you have probably already played it, but i'm just going to give you my ratings of the game.
Graphics 7 out of 10. The gun detail is great, expecially on the missle launchers and the assult rifle. The environment is great except for something that is not that bad, just that the objects that are explosive and even when the missiles hit an enemy, the graphics of the explosion is kinda lame....but yeah thats probably just me. Anyways, the graphics are great....
Gameplay 5 out of 10. Gameplay is very repetitive, like each level and sector is just about the same, your objective the same, you have to kill the gatekeeper, and then find the gate to the next level. It is very scary though, when you can't get off it, even though it is repetitive, you still just HAVE to beat the level. That is probably the only reason why it is a 5 out of 10. If it wasn't addictive, it would be a 3 out of 10, and i probably wouldn't be writing this.
Multiplayer 6 out of 10. Multiplayer gameplay is similar to halo or halo 2 except for the fact that the maps aren't as exciting and neither are the guns. You either modify what guns you get, or you can choose a preset. There are no gun pickups during the game, only some ammo and a few special power-ups(invisible, invincibilty, unlimited ammo, defence increase, damage increase ect)depending on the map. Also the multiplayer hack works great on this game, you can read the how-to on this site:
