I need help trying to find the difference between the patched and unpatched GTA just by looking at the box. i need to get the old one because i want to run the new exploit....please i need help. I dont want to buy the patched one and then it would be useless and a waste of money. if you can tell me how to tell the difference i would really appereciate it. ty for ur replys!!![/font]

Points: 491.70 Donate | | | Ok, i have it figured out how to tell just from looking at the back of the case, okay now, the new GTA just came out not that long ago, and the old GTA came out in October 2005, so if you look at the back of the case, theoretically if it is the old version it will say 2005 as the year in the little txt, but if it is the new one it will say 2006, or else there is no difference, so you would have to tell by putting the game in your psp and if it has a 2.0 update on it then it is the old one, but if it has the 2.60 update then it is the new one. |

the only thing you can do is buy it check to see if it has 2.00 update if it is 2.60 return it and claim that it was a present for someone and they've got it twice but theres no receipt for the other so you have to return the one you bought. if they say no claim there rejecting your statutory rights.
p.s. if you do get a patch version and have a friend with 1.50 possibly try and dump it for the dev'ers to look at and see whats changed.
