this 2.5 fw dump ? is it coming with devhook ?










owner of : 1.5 psp system, 2.6 psp system, ridge racer (2*), sudoku (2*), tokobot,lumines,medievil,coded arms,gta lcs, 1gb pro duo (2*), 512mb pro duo (3*) ... no iso, and no working umd wich uses 2.5 on my 1.5 system

i've followed the instructions step by step

and gta still wants a firmware update

i don't know whats wrong

i'll give it another try and if it won't work i think i have to search for the iso maybe this will work

WELL do you have the files in the folder dh

click on dh in root then 2.5 then see if their is a few files then a flash0 folder with a few files in their because not all the updates include the files in dh

Do you have one of the new GTA UMD's or are you using one of the old unpatched ones? The newer ones need 2.6 to run, so won't run on DevHook.

Are you trying to run the exact same copy that you downgraded with? If so its an old copy so ignore the above.

i've checked the psp again :

in the folder dh are many files, it seems to be like it has to be

i'm using the first availiable german umd version of gta lcs

what's the difference between an original umd and an patched umd version ? (was it patched by sony???)

one more question :

before i've started the downgrade i've jused the eboat loader from fanjita, all these files are still on the mem stick , is it better to format the stick and put the devhook files on it ?

There is easier way to do this

You need to get RUN UMD :http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/404

Then dump the runumd folder(s) into the psp/GAME folder

then on your psp go to the game icon>memory stick>RunUMD

then in RunUMD press the O button to make a mini copy thiny

when thats done push X and you can play

next time you play you dont need to push ), just X

the way you've described works only for a short time

the gta lcs umd starts, but after playing 10,20 or 30 seconds the game crashes and the psp turns off

hmm yeah im having a similar problem (i got 1.5 2 days ago)

its more like 10 minutes afterwards that my game freezes but it doesnt turn off
