| | | UMD GTA LCS on 1.5 PSP ? Hi all,
i've searched the forum for an answer to this question but i can't find it.
Is it possible to start the GTA LCS UMD (original game ! no iso) on a 1.5 psp ? i've downgraded the psp 5 minutes ago (2.6-->1.5), now i need some help to get the original games started
Which programms do i need ? |

that will let you use just about all UMDs that require up to 2.5 firmware |

Points: 0.05 Donate | | | As the person above said you will need devhook (as it is the best by far) just use these settings:
UMD select: umd disk
UMD mount: UMD disk
UMD version: 2.XX->2.00
fimware: 2.50
cpu clock: 22MHz / 111MHz
boot select: reboot xmb
You could do it with different settings but i use these because it works for most umds this way including GTA |

i've installed the devhook, after configuration like in the post before, i've started gta umd and it still told me that i have to update the psp ???
what are theses 2 tools for included in the devhook rar file ?
i've started the devhook driectly from the psp menue, do i have to start an eloader before ?
i'm sorry about all these questions, thx for you help again |

Points: 0.05 Donate | | | nope no need for an eloader. the tools are for compressing iso's. what you need is the 2.5 fw dump for it to work because it emulates the 2.5 so you can run games that need a higher fw than 1.5 |

i've started the devhook firmware launcher 2 times and the psp still shows firmware 1.5 under systeminformation
i've started devhook 42a, with all the settings as shown above
and after that i start gta and still says i need a firmware update
