I have uploaded a music video, Stacy's mom, to the download/upload section but to get it on send space it took forever. I was gonna upload Wayne's world but it was gonna take 239 minutes(yea right)
Is there a place where you can download faster. |

Points: 125.29 Donate | | | Im having the same problem im on dial up and it takes forever to download some these Simspons and South park episodes. i live in UK so i try to watch the episodes erly because they come out a year later here.

Points: 63,636.67 Donate | | | Uploading/downloading speed is entirely your internet connection dependent. For most DSL/cable users (like you, birdman), the max you can upload at is 50-60 Kbps, therefore, it DOES take a while to upload, and there's nothin you can do about it (unless you upgrade to T1 and higher kinds of connections). The uploading servers themselves, like sendspace.com, can handle much higher uploading speeds, it's just your own personal internet connection which bottlenecks it.
Same goes for downloading. Dialup = take forever. For me, I can download an episode of Simpsons or Family Guy from the downloads section in less than 10-15 minutes, but I'm also on a fast connection. |
