Would it be possible to amke a custom update or in any way modify the update so that the new firmware installed will be able to run homebrew and stuff. I know that a 2.7+ can't run any unsigned code, but what if we leave something in the flash0 before the upgrade that makes us able to do it. or something like that.

editing it in n e way will corrupt it!
and even if u have 1.5 and kxploit it then it will either brick u or STILL give u the corruption error! |

Points: 24.56 Donate | | | i dont think u understand... i know that you cant edit a eboot.pbp update, but i'm talking about leaving some kloader in the ram or something so that you can boot a exploit to edit your firmware and make unsigned code possible. |

Points: 26.89 Donate | | | Hummm, an interesting idea, but I think no. If I remember, the psp does a hard reset (ram clear), and flash 0 is compleatly overwirtten when you update.

Points: 24.56 Donate | | well, i guess all the stuff on the psp exept the flash1 and ms0 is totally reformatted dureing the upgrade, but i just want to ask the question. (i couldn't live if i didn't post this, and someone came up whit the same idea and it worked lol)

On the other hand, I have seen someone re-pack an update file with new Flash0 files and unpacked it fine with Devhook installer. Not related, though. |

However, he has said repeatedly now that the more people ask when it's going to come out, the longer he's going to take to do it. Intentionally. | |
