What firmware are you? : Sony Poll

Hey everyone,

This will probably be posted on the homepage soon, but I had to post this, it's so funny. Sony has started a poll, about which firmware version you are.

Vote: HERE.

Results at time of writing:

Notice how v1.0 and 1.50 are grouped together. It almost looks like it's a "Homebrew User" group lol

This means that almost one in five PSP users are 1st generation firmware owners (99% of them probably aware of homebrew).
Perhaps when Sony see this, it will be their incentive to try and convert homebrew users with new features.
Perhaps Sony didn't even make the poll - perhaps it was just another member or moderator. We can only guess...

I thought more people would be lower firmwares then higher versions.

i would've guessed that there was more 2.00, as that's what it was in europe at release (they was 1.52, but there was a big warning when you opened the box "insert the demo disk before starting")

Some of the people who use the PSP could care less about home brew. They are really missing out though.

I'm suprized that there aren't more 2.6-2.5 users. I persume that the ones who are 2.5/2.6 are the people who love homebrew, but have a TA-82 or whatever it's called board and can't downgrade. I also think that some of the other people who have 2.7+ upgraded bacuase they thought that they could never downgrade and so they went to the higher f/w's. But the majority of 2.7+ users just don't know/care about homebrew. I have showed one of my friends PSP Radio, AFKIM, Dev-hook, and all of the best of the best homebrew, and yet he still upgraded his 2.0 to 2.71 right out of the box. Oh well, his loss, not mine.

I thought there'd be a much less amount of 1.0/1.5 users, seeing as this is a Sony site. I'm really quite surprised, now all we need is a poll here to see the difference .
