Oh man you got no idea, Vista is great. I'm using it now

Download the BETA and install it on a fresh HDD and see for yourself. But WARNING - TAKE OUT YOUR XP HDD. IT WILL RE-WRITE YOUR BOOT SECTOR, AND BEING A BETA YOU CAN HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS DUAL BOOTING WITH XP AND VISTA! Mine f!cks up all the time... as long as i keep going into Vista and hacking around anyway :P

Seriously though, it's great. I'm considering writting a little review of Vista on these forums with screenshots too, comparing XP to Vista, coz i've seen many comments on people wondering about Vista...

What's wrong with XP? Are you a Linux user or something? Seriously i'm sick of hearing about people saying XP IS SHIT or whatever is shit, but they don't have any comparisons or cons actually mentioned...

XP is the best OS for the end-user, hands down. There IS a reason why Microsoft is the most expensive modern-age corporation in the world (they own 49% of Apple, did you know that?). You can do more things on an XP machine than any other type of computer. Well, FUN things.... if you like implementing NAT into your routing tables then mabye Linux is best for you... lol


2000 is so much worse than XP, i really hated 2000 (i stayed with 98SE when it came out). XP is like 2000's more-successful big brother - all the shit they got wrong with 2000 they fixed up in XP. They are both Windows NT 5, 2000 being 5.0 and XP being 5.1.

hav u eva USED XP?! surely u hav realised that it crashes? an my m8s boot sector f***ks up nearly evry other day. (tho i agree bout vista, bboy_sonik) The only reasons most use it r dat near all programs (and games)use it, essentially making it a requirement, or they just 2 noobish 2 install linux an THATS why windows is so popular

linux will crash at the exact same point when a winxp crash, its just that u must do more in linux to bring it at the same point coz in winxp much more shit runs in the background

btw dont overclock, dont buy shitty noname hardware and look if ur hardware is even compatible

You see, Microsoft Windows is famous for being (sometimes) user-friedly, AND because it let us do whatever when want! That includes piracy! Microsoft is trying to stop piracy and at the same time it's destroing itself! People than can't do what they want will stop going for Windows, and going to others OS!

i switched from xp 2 linux 6 months ago an it aint crashed 1ce no matta what i use,an i no xp like da bak of ma hand so dont talk 2 me like im a noob an as 4 xp crashing 1ce a month its not supposed 2 crash @ all! Granted deres loads more programs but da same cud b sed with viruses. and crashed programs on linux exit straight away , with windows it hang 4 bout 1/2 an hour.Plus windows costs more dan a ds an i no which 1 id rather hav.
