i juz downgraded from 2.71 to 1.50.... it was a succes... i nit help in how to play ISO games on my newly downgraded 1.50.....

make a folder in your root called iso and put your iso's in there.
then use devhook to play them

you shouldnt give out help on isos..its people like him that sony dont like..thats why they hate homebrew

i'm sori if my post fired up some people. but it's juz that, i juz can't afford to own original umd's.... i only have one iso. fifa street 2. and one gta lcs (umd). so, can someone give me a tutorial?

I would recommend downloading v0.45 as v0.46 is very advanced.

Put all your ISO's in a folder called "ISO" in the root of your memory stick. This is the place that contains the "PSP" and "MP_ROOT" folders.

Install firmware 2.71. Follow the tutorial here by Chriscooke109:

9. Now copy the reboot.bin you just downloaded into ms0:\dh\271 and also copy it into ms0:\dh\kd and replace the one that is currently in there

10. Now use the following settings to start up 2.71:
UMD Select: (choose your iso, cso or --UMD DISC--)
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
UMD Version: 2.xx > 2.00
Firmware: 2.71
CPU Clock: 222MHz / 111MHz (that is what I always use no problems)
Boot Select: Reboot XMB

"i juz can't afford to own original umd's" aint justification for iso downloading if you cant afford them why did you fork out £180+ for the console. and why cant you afford them ?

You're right, you shouldn't be saying that you download ISO's. I know it's a widely-done thing, even alot of the people here do it. Just keep it to yourself, unless you own the game.

Jasa, there is nothing wrong with discussing ISO's. Neither legally nor morally. There are no rules as to teaching others / asking for help about them, only about distributing the files themselves or the links to such files.
Discussing the loading of ISO's is an almost universal practice, and nobody should be in the dark as-to-how others' are doing it.
