Hi guys

Why is PSP3D so great? I don't know why, but of all the homebrew/PSP sites and forums i find this one the best... must be the great people. And the top quality site

Anyway, i'm threadin' today about my first attempt at an iRShell v2.0 theme/skin. It probably could be better, but since this is my first go GIVE ME A BREAK! Ha seriously though... i didn't want to spend any more time on it (probably took me about 4 to 6 hours total) so i thought i'd wrap it up and post it on PSP3D to see what you guys think.

iRShell v2.0 - AmigaOS4 Edition

Ok, that pic was going to be the boot screen, but when i tested the file format i found that there is protection in iRShell to prevent changing the BOOT.BMP image... so yeah it was only a concept load image.

This theme is based on the AmigaOS (formerly known as Workbench) 4th edition concept. Note that I built this theme using the templates from the Vista theme by Numeror, but the only original content that i have used is the custom eboot icons (1 to 5) as i havn't made an alternative yet. If you ever read this, hope that's OK.

Anyway, here are some screenshots of the theme. Obviously the quality is a little low, they are low compressed JPEG's, but the bitmaps in the actual theme arn't as low quality.

- Main iRShell Menu

- One (of the 4) help screens.

Notes:
- The theme will overwrite your default iR Shell theme, so make sure you backup your BMP's in the iRShell folder in PSP/GAME before installing. I had to do this because i couldnt get the help screens and some other few things to work properly

Maybe there is something i do not know...
- I can't get the colouring right, specifically the dark-grey box around the icons when selected in the main iRShell menu, and the bottom text is black (i want it to be white!). It is white in the file browser and stuff though, just not in the main menu (I don't know why this is).

That new project sounds interesting, but what exactly does it do, does it make an iso out of what you want or like make an iso out of a game like the creator of LuaPlayer, thx

Lol, this is hilarious!

This thread is weeks old, and had no replies, but as soon as i posted so it moved to the top, everyone wants to see it...! Well, anyone still interested in the skin - the screenshots and download link will be up shortly. I didn't actually remove the links, i just havn't payed my hosting bill so they are invalid (as is my signature) but i just payed the bill and they should be back within 24 hours.

Note that this skin will also work with iRShell v2.1, though i havn't tested it with v2.2 it should still work. The only reason it is titled as a 2.0 skin is because the help screens dont list the functions that were implemented in 2.1 and 2.2.

For all those interested in ISO.PBP, the software is nearly finished. All information is availalble in a new thread in the General PSP Discussion section, titled "ISO.PBP v1.0 - Make EBOOT's for your ISO's". This is found here. This post will also be edited and updated when the software is released in a few days.

I noticed some people have had a hard time trying to understand what this software actually does, and i hope that thread explains it well.

NOTE: This skin is WORKING with iRShell v2.1 AND 2.2. Only difference is that the help screens do NOT show the extra shortcuts/hotkeys for new features implemented after 2.0.
