| | | | where is the best place to buy games? (US) well i guess this thread could be considered borderline advertising, but I didnt see a thread on good/cheaper retailers on where to buy games, or deals for cheaper psp games. i am a college student and i managed to save money for a psp. I would like to also save money on games, but I dont really want to wait till the price drops a couple months later. what online (preferablly not ebay or any other auctions) or US store retailers generally sell their games cheaper than everyone else? If anyone sees any deals could you post those too? paying 40 bucks for games really adds up.
Thanks
ps im not really sure if this is the correct forum to do this or not and I read the rules and i *think* im not in violation, but please inform me if I am. |

E-bay can also get you cheap games. I got "Me and My Kantamari" for $5.30, including shipping.
As for a physical store, look and see if you have a "Fry's Electronics." On so called "Black Friday" (the day after thanksgiving), most items are 50~80% off. Not only do they have a wide selcetion of PSP games and UMD's, but they also have stuff for your computer. And they have nice deals on memorysticks.
By the way, which college do you go to? I'm at UCSD.
Oh, and this is not in violation of the rules because you or I aren't trying to sell a product, you are just looking for a place to get PSP stuff.

| | | | haha yea i got frys all over the place, im from the bay area, but i go to school at ucla. (go bruins!). yea we'll see how black friday is at frys this year, in the last two years theyve been selling really cheaply made stuff. sorta the problem ive been having with ebay, is the prices seem to fluctuate everyday. amazons not a bad place to buy, but its not always the cheapest. |

| | | | see heres the thing about frys. if their stuff isnt on sale, its most likely more expensive than anywhere else. trust me, frys is pretty much the only electronics store people go to in the san jose area. btw, be carefull on the brand of cd-rs and dvd-rs you buy at frys. if its the GQ brand, itll fall apart or chip in a couple years. My dad used to buy those when burners first came out and all those cds have been tossed. watch out for frys rebates too, unless its a manufacter rebate, i wouldnt count on getting it. So in general, video games at frys are NOT the cheapest, unless they happen to be onsale. |
