i have gta (of course) and i play it so much (even though i dont have the cheat device) that it's scrached up from me popping it out and dropping it and stuff
whenever i start it up the loading screen freezes as soon as the picture changes to Vincenzo then i have to take out my UMD and reinsert it and let load up and i do this several times until it works by a stroke of luck
my question is this: is there any way to clean them like regular CD's or is it made of metal and the data is stored on the side that is exposed and a scrach is unfixable

any help is appreciated, thnx in advance

I believe it acts like a Mini DVD, but of course the size and the extra pieces make it unusable in a DVD Drive. Also, their is a commercial UMD Cleaner, and it works cool, so I believe cleaning it like a CD will work fine

ok see that its plastic now, anybody know if they clean UMDs at EB games, gamestop, etc in USA?
