Its easy sh!t to do, all u gotta do is hex-edit the GUIDevHook/DevHookMod eboots to use a specified AUTOLOAD.PNG image, and a different INI file instead of devhook.ini. This software is just a bunch of advanced batch files that split up the EBOOTs, edit the segments, then rebuild it into a customized/hex-edited EBOOT.
Open up a GUIDevHook or DevHookMod EBOOT with a hex editor, and you'll see what i mean. You can rename the referances to graphic files and devhook.ini in there. That is ALL this software does, its just an all-in-one package that i originally worked on for myself to save a lot of time (as metroidblade says, it takes forever.. if that's what he was talking about).
Oh brianfast, for the "i am technically superior and know all about PC's" people like you, ill ELABORATE on my HDD 'blowing up'.
I have a 200GB 10,000RPM SCSI HDD as my primary storage, and without myself knowing my cooler had failed (cheap thermaltake crap..). The controller COOKED from heat. So, i have to save up enough money to buy an identical HDD (which is somewhat expensive here in australia) so i can replace the controller with the new one. And hopefully all my data is intact. It should be, i have done this kind of thing with SATA and PATA (IDE) drives before and i hope SCSI will work just as well. I did my research, and many people have reported success so i hope it all goes well.
So yeah.. sorry about that. I have a friend that i sent the source code to a while ago, maybe i can get that off of him (if he still has it) and release it sooner. I apologize for any hype that anyone had and is now disappointed lol, but yer it'll come soon.

But i've done this before - i need to find an identical model hard drive (including revision, and what country it was made), then take the bottom circuit board / controller off and put it on the damaged one... hopefully all goes well. Of the 6 or 7 times iv done this before, only 1 time it didnt work - they were both the exaft same model yes, but one was made in Taiwan and the other was made in some other country...
But yer, on topic.... erm... there was no topic.... i have to wait to fix my hard drive

Points: 8.60 Donate | | | Iv done it multiple times because i work as an engineer at a large radio station and sometimes hard drives die and they have sensitive information i try to restore... and no not servers coz they got their RAID5 SCSI arrays and crap.... but yeah im thinking of investing in a SCSI RAID array myself coz im sick of these Seagate crappy things dying... anyway, ISO.PBP is pretty much dead, even wen i get my HDD data back i prolly couldnt be screwed getting this software finished coz it aint that good anyway.
PEACE!
