Release date is within days, and it will probably be the only release unless bugs are found (but it isnt very complicated software, just a buch of advanced batch files and scripts and such). So what is the ISO.PBP software? (the name was only quickly thought up, but will probably never change). The software is not very complicated, but is very useful. It is for all users that use GUIDevHook v3.3 to load their ISO games. If you don't use GUIDevHook v3.3, GET IT! Because it's good. I made this software mainly for myself because i was sick of hex-editing and resource hacking the GUIDevHook EBOOT's manually for every game i have, but now i'm about to release it publically (and it's moderately easy to use).
Anyway what it does is build YOU an EBOOT of a customized GUIDevHook that is specific to a certain ISO. It takes three images - two of them being graphics for the EBOOT's (ICON0 and PIC1), the other being an 'autoload image' for GUIDevHook which is the "Loading your game..." graphic. (check the example image at the bottom). More technically, it will use a different INI file as compared to 'devhook.ini' so all the settings for that particular eboot, titled "Street Fighter Alpha 3" for example, will stay with that EBOOT and ONLY that EBOOT. This mean that when you start the eboot named "Street Fighter Alpha 3", it will read the ini file named 'dh_sfa3.ini' in the ms0:/dh/ folder and autoload the SFA3.ISO image (as specified in 'dh_sfa3.ini' file) the while showing the graphic you can see at the bottom of this post. In a sentence, this software allows you build a GUIDevHook EBOOT for your PSP that are for the one game, with it's own graphics, name, DevHook settings and of course, the ISO to autorun.
I hope that clears up any confusion about the software. Stay tuned for updates.
This thread, or post rather, will be fully edited when the software is released in a few days. As with all my threads, PLEASE post your comments and whether you would like to see this software, as i will cancel the release if there is no demand, and just keep it for myself coz i love it :P Note - this software does not use a GUI - it is text/console based input and output (as i do not know Visual Basic or Java or anything). Before you run the program, you need to copy the three images you have created for your EBOOT (as described earlier), and then run it. The program will ask you everything else, and then the ready-to-go EBOOT's (with full paths and such) will be made in a new folder in the ISO.PBP folder. Well, i didn't need to tell you that now really, it's all in the documentation (which i highly recommend you read when it's released).
Ok, so as i said i will post a loading image. I will actually show a few that i use for all the games i have built. This is the screen that will show after you run the EBOOT, and before the emulated DevHook firmware boots up.
Post away guys, comments, questions or suggestions are all, of course, very welcome. Peace!
SAMPLE AUTORUN IMAGES -
I do have more, but you get the point. JPG's are saved as progressive compression, so as it loads it will de-pixelate.

Nontheless, with this mod you wont have the need to keep messing around with the DevHook settings! All it will show is the autoload image as the DevHook FW is booting... personally i havn't noticed any speed difference between the the GUIDevHook "AUTOLOADING (Press X to change settings)" and the original DevHook "Autorun Enabled. Press O to cancel".
The initial program was for DevHook only, but i decided to use GUIDevHook instead - so we can see a nice loading screen as our game boots up (and so u can show it off to ur friends and such :P)

My only question is... why? Wouldn't you end up with an EBOOT for each ISO? |

1. Will this work with compressed CSOs and DAX ISOs?
2. Wheres the download link? LOL

- That is the point. You do not have to go in and change all ur settings in DevHook just to load a different game. It's quicker, and it's kewl. Each distro is only two eboots (eboot and eboot%), an autoload PNG image and an ini file, so it only takes up about a meg per game (plug the ISO of course). Will this work with compressed CSOs and DAX ISOs?
- As with Devhook, CSO's will obviously work. DAX... no. I can't implement that either so try and hassle me :P Wheres the download link? LOL
- I apologize, it's taking longer than expected. I ran into a problem with the phase of building the INI file. I think i might leave that for a later version. What you will have to do instead, when the EBOOT is first run, you will have to set the ISO and other DevHook settings just like normal devhook. Then when you run it for the first time, it'll save the settings for that EBOOT, and it will autorun the ISO in future with those saved settings.
Other delays hit me yesterday. I hope to have this software released over the weekend. Peace.

Edit: Just so ya know, its an added module, very simple
