Write Protection

Well after SONY ruined my life, I gave up on PSP for a while. That is, until everything went my way. I recently aquired a free 2.6 PSP with a 2 gig memory stick. Well I went and put about 300 songs on it, I decided to put some videos. So here's my problem, the damn thing is write protected and everytime I uncheck it, it pops right back on there. I know there's an easy way to get rid of it as I've done it before, but I can't remember it for the life of me. Any(positive) hints are welcome, meaning don't be retarded and leave a comment like, "haha noobers" or, "I got first post" or anything as useless. Thank you in advanced,
-Gav

When I check the properties and it has the write protection box checked, I try to take it off, but when I uncheck it and click apply, it comes back. When I try putting videos on the MS, it says it can't read the output folder, because it is full/write protected.

EDIT: Oh, it says it's either write protected or read only, but either way I can't seem to fix it.

Is there a little switch on the Memory Stick by any chance?
I'm not sure what's causing that. The Memory Stick could somehow be corrupted. Try formatting it, then move the files back on.

OT: I love that avatar. lolz
