I don't know, hopefully something will happen soon. it just seems like there's a lot of focus on the higher FW's right now and the 1.5s are left to wait. it's not like i'm unhappy with 1.5, but i'm just curious. | Then.. I woulnd't upgrade the 1.50 PSP even though i can downgrade it because firmware 1.50 is better, it is anoying when you have to use the tiff explote in 2.71 and it doesn't always work, then you have to load devhook then choose the homebrew. Peopel are saying that 2.71 is the new Golden firmware, i say it isn't. What do u guys think? | And... Quote:

maybe the psp homebrew developers (you guys all rock) should think whether they'd rather have 1.5 as the standard homebrew platform, with work put into downgrading. or forget the downgrading and put the effort into 2.xx?
i guess i'm just saying the same thing, only in a nicely uber-long-winded way =/ | The First Quote is by jonyp777 having his rant.
Second is JPP agreeing.
Third is monotony agreeing. Read his last sentence.

It's wierd, I waited for so long to be able to have 1.5 and now I am considering upgrading again. | All of my homebrew works on SE, i guess im lucky. It seems that only the crappy homebrew doesnt work on SE, and i found a few small programs (like my old version of DevHook and iRShell 2.2) that didnt work on SE-B, but with some minor EBOOT editing they were all fixed. Besides, if i really wanted to i could just as easily go back to 1.5 as i did to upgrade to 2.71 SE-B....
But yer the point of the TA-82 PSP's is interesting as they cannot downgrade or whatever.... we should start a petition to round up all the great expl0iterz and try to crack 3.00 when it comes out
How funny would it be if 3.00 was only compatible with TA-82 or later? Chances are extremely unlikely, but would that pi$$ us off.... i wouldnt be surprised if a firmware that we wont see for ages is not compatible with TA-80 motherboards... but im sure Sony would try as hard as they can to make sure this doesnt happen....
Erm off topic... sorry.
